If you own a greencard, you can apply for basically any job in the United
States. As a permanent immigrant you have the same rights as any American
citizen when applying for a job. But: of course you still have to look
for an employment opportunity and usually have to go through a personal
interview. Many websites have specialized on providing infomation for
job seekers. Some also list jobs which are open for foreigners without
a visa. (Usually the American company than helps when applying for a
work visa), but most job listings are most helpful only for people who
already have a greencard.
